Salon Treatment
Scar tissue should be only treated after the tissue has healed fully. There should be no inflammation or
swelling. Two treatments per week is typical and the customer can help to achieve better results with a specific home care routine.
Only treatment per week should be dry sanding of the scar tissue. This is done using evenly applied abrasive
paste (HT). It should be left to dry on completely, and the tissue can then be sanded off with a sponge
pad or fine grindstone.
The second weekly treatment should be aimed at increasing blood circulation and penetration in the tissue in order to loosen it up.
The Thermo Pack from the Rosa Graf range is applied thinly but in suffiicient Quantitys to the relevant areas of the skin. The absorption time depends on the condition and age of the scar. If the customer does not feel any unpleasant burning or prickling, the pack can be left on the tissue for up to 15 minutes, although on the face and neck area absorption time should be limited to 7 minutes as the skin is finer and more sensitive here.
The iontocutin N ampoule, (HT) is now worked in using iontophoresis. To finish, the scar is covered with Iontocutin N cream (a lightly enriched cream containing panthenol, especially developed to improve scar tissue).
Home Care
The customer should apply the Iontocutin N Cream to the relevant skin area twice a day. An improvement in the scar tissue will only be seen and felt if treatment is accompanied by the daily applied home care routine.
